Palaeolithic Caves of the Swabian Alps

In the late 1800’s a series of caves were discovered in southern Germany containing evidence of early Human “occupation”. In total there are six cave systems, all within a small geographic location in the Swabian Alps. The early excavations showed evidence, via tools and animal remains of occupation in the upper palaeolithic.
